Lift and Slide doors

Lift and Slide doors are the only way to achieve a sliding door with excellent draft proofing or air tightness qualities.  The handle, when operated lifts the door up of the seals and allows it to slide easily.  When the handle is turned into the closed position the door drops down on to the seals and cannot be moved and is air-tight.  Perfect for Passive House buildings.  Unilux offers two different types of threshold, our barrier free threshold with 5mm high track allows for total compliance with NCC accessibility requirement and a gentle ramp down to the outside surface with only a 10mm difference from inside level to outside, perfect for wheelchair accessibility and a barrier free lifestyle.
